MALAYALAM

1. Rev. Fr. Jose Chunkan Endowment

A sum of Rs. 10,000/- was donated by the Christ college management to institute an endowment in the name of Fr. Jose Chunkan CMI, former Principal and HOD of Malayalam Dept. This endowment is awarded to the student who comes first at the college level literary/speech/debate competition and scoring highest marks in second language Malayalam in the University Examinations.

2. Rev. Fr. Jose Chunkan Endowment

A sum of Rs. 15,000/- was donated by the Christ college management to institute an endowment in the name of Fr. Jose Chunkan CMI, former Principal of the College. The interest accrued shall be utilized to organize a lecture every year on literary/Journalistic/Moral/Motivating theme to the student community, with the co-operation of the Malayalam Department.

3. Rev. Fr. Jose Chunkan Kalalayaratna Award

A sum of Rs. 12,500/- donated by staff members, friends & well wishers of Malayalam Department to institute an endowment in the name of Fr. Jose Chunkan CMI, former Principal of the College to be awarded to the best student in terms of social commitment, leadership quality and academic pursuit, selected from among the students of Arts & Science colleges in Thrissur district, affiliated to Calicut University.

A sum of Rs. 11,000/- was donated by Retd. Prof. R. Jayaram, Dept. of Chemistry to institute an endowment to the student who scores highest marks in Physical Chemistry, M.Sc. Chemistry batch.

5. Prof. N. Radhakrishnan Endowment

A sum of Rs. 11,000/- was donated by Retd. Prof. N. Radhakrishnan, Dept of Chemistry to institute an Endowment to the student who scores highest marks in Theoretical Chemistry I & II Sem M.Sc. Chemistry University Examinations.

6. Prof. C.J. Sivasankaran Endowment

A sum of Rs. 10,000/- was donated by Retd. Prof. C.J. Sivasankaran, Dept of Chemistry to institute an endowment to the student who scores highest marks in B.Sc. University Examinations and having involvement in NSS/NCC/Member in College Union Executive.

7. Prof. V.L. Varghese Endowment
