Research experience

On 4.7.2000 joined in the Dept. of History, Calicut University as full-time research Student under the supervision of Dr. KN. Ganesh.  Indian Council of Historical Research had sanctioned ICHR, Junior Research fellowship for two years w.e.f. 14.7.03. The Thesis entitled Women in Labour Process, Production Relations and Social change; A Study of North Malabar was submitted on 20.07.2006 and qualified for Ph.D. in History on 1.11. 2007.The thesis "Women in Labour process, Production Relations and Social change; A Study of North Malabar" is an attempt to draw on some experiences of women's labour in the agrarian society in North Malabar.   

 

Tirurangadi Project 

Worked as a volunteer in the Kerala Research Programme for Local Level Development under the Co-ordination of Dr. K. N Ganesh on the project ‘Socio-Cultural Process and Livelihood patterns at Tirurangadi-Micro Historical Study’.

 

Marad Kalapam-2002

When the Revolt broke out in 2002 in Marad in Calicut, Research Scholars from different departments of Calicut university, under Dr. K. N. Ganesh visited that area and conducted field studies and at that time worked among them as volunteer and the group submitted a report to the Govt. The same group also conducted field studies in Nadapuram area.
