2019-2020

INVITED TALK

The Department of Hindi organized an Invited Talk on 20/02/2020. The Topic of the talk was ‘HINDI LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE: THE SOCIAL NEXUS’. The programme was presided over by Dr. Mathew Paul Ukken, Principal, Christ College(Autonomous), Irinjalakuda and the resource person was Prof.Dr.Pramod Kovvaprath, HoD, Department of Hindi, University of Calicut.

2020-2021

On the occasion of Hindi Fortnight the Department of Hindi organized a National Webinar and various online competitions in Hindi for the students. The topic of the webinar was NATIONALISM, NATIONAL LANGUAGE, OFFICIAL LANGUAGE AND TWENTY FIRST CENTURY. The winners of the various competitions were honored by cash awards and E-Certificates. In the academic year the Department is offered a Certificate Course in Hindi Typing.

INVITED TALK

On 15^th May 2021 the Department organized an Invited Talk and released an              E-Magazine named NAYAAB PARCHAEEYAM. The topic of the talk was CRISIS AND CREATION and resource person was former HoD of the Hindi Department.

2021-2022

In connection with PREM CHAND JAYANTHI the Department of Hindi organized   an Invited Talk. The resource person was Dr. Babu K Viswanath, HoD, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Regional Centre, Tirur and topic of the day was Premchand and Neo Colonialism. On this occasion inaugurated the Hindi Club, named Hindi Manch. In the academic year the Department is offered a Certificate Course in Basics of Translation. From 19/11/2021 to 23/11/2021 various Online & Offline Hindi competitions were conducted. Poster Making & Versification competitions were Inter – collegiate.
