INVITED TALK

 

Invited talk for PG and Research scholars, “Quality and Ethical Issues of Research”, 15^th November 2018. The resource person was Dr. Harikumaran Tampi, Reader, Department of Lifesciences, Director, College Development Council, University of Calicut.

         

Talk include a to z from research problem to research report, includes review of literature, citation, plagiarism, impact factor, writing styles etc. It was informative, inspirational and useful to scholars and PG students.

The programme conducted as the inauguration of “Information literacy and Orientation of E-resources”programme for PG students offered by Department ofLibrary and Information science.

  

 

 

 

NATIONAL SEMINAR

 

National Seminar on “Data management and Knowledge Production”, 17^th December 2019.The chief guests were Dr. ARD Prasad, (Eminent researcher and scholar. Professor and Head DRTC, Bangalore.) and Dr Devika Madalli (Professor, DRTC Bangalore).

75 delegates participated includes librarians, information professionals, data managers and students. Papers presented in following topics.

1. Prime Presentation of the Seminar was “Big Data management: contemporary issues”, Dr. ARD            Prasad,  Professor and Head,  Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC), Bangalore.
