The department runs two programmes: 1. Bachelor of Vocation (Food Processing Technology) and 2. At least 50% of skill development component is allotted to practical and industry training. At present, there are eight full time teaching staff and two non-teaching support staff. The department is equipped with state-of-the art laboratory facilities for both wet-lab experiments and in silico experiments. For B.Voc (FP) program, a modern analytical laboratory and a fully equipped food processing laboratory have been set up.
