SEMINAR 

 

One Day seminar onEmerging trends in food sector on a global perspective’’ was organized on 13/12/2017 by the Dept. of Food Technology, in association with Red to Green Pvt Ltd. The seminar was led by Mrs Sheila P M,Research Associate , Red to Green Pvt Ltd.

2018-2019

 

WORLD FOOD DAY

 

As a part of World Food Day an awareness session onBio fertilizers, Eco friendly agriculture and organic farming ’’ was organized on 16/10/2018 by the Dept. of Food Technology. The talk was delivered by Dr. K E Usha, Professor and Head, Central Nursery KAU.

 

In connection with World Food Day, Dept of Food Technology organized a Quiz on 16/10/2018 on the topics Food safety, Nutrition and Food security.

CERTIFICATE COURCE PROGRAM

 

A Certificate Course program “HACCP  Level 3’’ started by Department of food technology on 20/09/2018. Details of the course is given below

SEMINAR

 

One day seminar was conducted by the dept of Food Technology on ‘’Modern applications in dehydration technology’’ on 07/10/2020.The class was delivered by Dr. Lilia Baby, Associate Professor, KAU.

 

 

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

 

Dept of  Food Technology organized a one day certificate program on ‘’Food Safety supervisor  ‘’ on 16/02/2020 in association with Mr. Subin Jose, Senior Resource Person, Dairy Food.

 

2021-2022

 

As a part of World Food Day a nutritious cookery demonstration was organized by the dept. of   Food Technology associated with Nestle Pvt Ltd. The demonstration was led by Mrs Sera Paul, Regional Promotion Officer, Nestle Pvt Ltd.
