Biodiversity club of Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda is a registered club under Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB), Thiruvananthapuram (Reg. no. KSBB/BC/45). It was inaugurated on 26th March 2014. The club bagged the ‘Best Biodiversity Club Award in 2014-2015’ instituted by KSBB. The club organizes various awareness programmes like lectures, quizzes, seminars, workshops, celebration of biodiversity related days, planting rare and indigenous trees, photo exhibitions, nature camps, institutional visits, participation in faunal surveys, floral and faunal documentation etc.
To educate the younger generation about biodiversity and its conservation and to mould the students through quality higher education for the benefit of the society and the nation.
To train professionally competent youth with awareness and realistic skills, capable of playing a vital role in the prospect of our nation by providing solutions to the conservation of ecosystem.
To increase knowledge about the biodiversity and to provide information regarding biologically diverse ecosystem.To improve the biodiversity found in the college campus.

Two-day nature camp at Parambikulam Tiger Reserve on 2 and 3, September 2019 in which 45 members had participated.
Three day “Clean Campus”-National Training Programme in technical support with CPCB, Bengaluru funded by KSCSTE (6/1/2020, 7/1/2020 and 9/1/2020) jointly organized by Bhoomithrasena club and Enviro club. A Plant-visit to Common Biomedical Waste Treatment facility (IMAGE) at Palakkad also was conducted.
Observed World Biodiversity Day, May 22, 2021 by organizing a webinar on Organic Farming tips by Dr. K. V. Radhakrishnan and created an online group for encouraging participants to follow organic farming practices in their home.
