Student IQAC

The students wing of IQAC is a vibrant group of students who work closely with IQAC. Feedback and suggestions from SIQAC are the main driving force in implementing Student centric Quality initiatives of the institution. By being members of SIQAC they get a chance to be part of decision making.

 

Objective:

 

The primary aim of SIQAC is

  • To develop a culture of responsibility and involvement in the activities of the institution.
  • Take part in decision making process and disseminate the instructions from IQAC to student community.

 

Functions:

 

  • Collect feedback and suggestions from students, consolidate and submit to IQAC.
  • Assist IQAC in corrections and maintenance of student’s login to moodle LMS, ERP etc.
  • Work as coordinators and ambassadors of online certification courses like NPTEL, Coursera and EdX.
  • Collect news and prepare monthly newsletters (video telecasts) in College YouTube channel.
  • Coordinators of Civil Service Coaching.
  • Participate in EKSB Club (Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat) activities
  • Editing Audio books for visually impaired students in the daisy format using Obi software.

Activities:

 

A)  Help desk

 

Members of Students IQAC arrange help desks during College admission, NPTEL registration and Student login registration. SIQAC members are given required information and training to be the volunteers in helpdesk

 

 

                          

 

 

 

B)  Preparation of audio books in Daisy format for benefit of visually impaired students

 

Members of students IQAC prepared audio books and edited in Obi software. Which was contributed to National Sugamya Pusthakalaya

 

 

C)  Collection and presentation of news

 

Monthly news collected from students and consolidated to video format with the help of technical staff

 

 

 

D)  Student survey and suggestions

 

Members of SIQAC conduct survey among students to collect their viewpoints and suggestions regarding day to day affairs in the campus

Members of SIQAC in association with students of Computer Science developed chatbot to assist in admission.
