Constitution of Equal Opportunity Cell

Christ College (Autonomous), Irinjalakuda, hereby establishes the Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) with immediate effect to address issues concerning SC, ST, OBC, minority groups, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). The EOC is a dedicated committee committed to promoting equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive campus environment without any discrimination.

Terms of Reference of the EOC is:
1. Oversee the effective implementation of policies and programmes for disadvantaged groups, including SC/ST, OBC, minority groups, and PwD.
2. Provide guidance and counselling regarding academic, financial, social, and other matters to enhance campus diversity.
3. Ensure that no discrimination occurs based on religion, race, caste, disability, or other grounds.
4. Prevent harassment against minority and disadvantaged groups.
5. Implement an effective redressal mechanism for addressing violations of equal opportunity policies.
The term of the EOC shall be for one year or until further orders. The Member Convenor will report to the Principal regarding all matters related to the functioning of the EOC.
