Readers club is an inclusive group of teachers and students for promoting reading. Club reviews books of notable authors in various languages. Club recommends the important books to the library. Organizes Book fairs, Book releases and other literary activities in the college. Conduct lectures of distinguished guests and also conduct screening of films based on literary work. Till now, the club conducted 39 book reviews, 6 illustrious lectures and 1 book fair.

Mission: To develop and promote reading habit among students. To appreciate the literary works in the areas of culture, environment and society thereby enhancing the capacity of students in writing and reviewing.

Prof. Shinas, a historian and political observer discussed on the topic Reading: Past & Present. In his lecture, Prof. Shinas went through changes happened to ‘Reading Culture’ through ages. He also reflected on new opportunities and challenges in the realm of ‘Reading’ in this Digital Era. He also prompted listeners to embrace new modes and methods.
Prof. Sheeba K M lectured on the topic “Reading and Re-reading: Recovering Histories of Women.” In her talk, Professor Sheeba tried to explore the life of women in early and medieval India with the help of Hindu religious texts. The talk was more of an analysis of life of women in the pre-colonial period.
